A big hello from Big Run Project!

Are you ready to get out the house, move more and feel better? Big Run Project is dedicated to helping people just like you to reap the benefits of running.

Our network reaches right across the city, seven days a week, and our run leaders are trained to offer support and guidance to everyone, with a real focus on those who are new to exercise.

Birmingham is the perfect location to try running, whatever your level of ability and experience. From the green parks and streets, to the miles of canals that span our city, there’s opportunity at every corner thanks to our network. Or if you prefer to run in a less public setting, there are groups for you too.

We welcome and encourage runners of all abilities, from those who are fresh off the sofa, to people who have been giving it a go for a while.

With a range of groups to choose from, including walk/run meets for absolute beginners, the popular Couch to 5K programme and support for those training for the Great Birmingham Run, you’ll be able to progress at your own pace, no matter what your goal, with the support of others. With Big Run Project there are even sessions to ease stress and improve fitness, as well as dedicated groups to support mums, community and education groups, and young people.

Big Run Project is here to keep our city moving. We’re supporting people from all communities, all over the city, to start running.
